This name has a very proud and has a sad story.
Arya Yachting started the manufacture of her second boat after the success she achieved in her first boat, Nostalgia. Akin Alpar, ''one of the partners of Arya Yachting with another 11 partners'', was more excited for their second boat than the remaining partners. Because he has agreed with his partners to have the boat form and design he dreamed of for years. He wanted to manage the construction of the boat himself, and the ongoing journeys between Kurucaşile and Istanbul, where the boat was established, started. However, there was a great misfortune and he lost his life in a traffic accident While the construction of the boat.
The partners of Arya Yachting first gave up on continuing the boat. However, one of them had the dream, others thought that this decision was not correct and they decided to bring this boat to the sea in his memory, and they continued to keep him alive by naming the boat after a lost friend.
The story is the point where Arya Yachting brought Akin-A to this point.
My story begins in 2017, when I was thinking to build a boat for Mako Yachting. When I called a friend who is a naval engineer to build a much smaller service boat; My Friend said to me "No we will not build this boat, you will buy another boat".!
Every now and then I walk by the boats in the Bodrum harbor. and when ever I saw AKIN-A, I used to stood up for couple of minutes and adore the beauty of Akın A, and thinking If am I going to own a boat like Akın A. My friend gave me the news that the former owner was looking someone who will look after AKIN A well.
Long story short I've decided to Own AKIN-A with great pride. I've never thought about changing the name of AKIN A, even once. change the name of the boat out of respect for its story.
Akın-A, who landed in the sea in 1989, is a 31-year-old Ketch. Renovated by Arya Yachting in 2013, the boat continues to serve with its beautiful and unique form after beingbody refit by us in 2019. The wide deck area that makes Akın-A unique with its 4 cabins offering accommodation for 10 people in total. Whether you are doing an ordinary blue cruise or riding your bike on a concept tour, we guarantee that you will collect beautiful memories on its large deck.
